Time Capsule Project

The time capsule project is a life long project that began in 1996. The project consists of a network of small capsules that I have been depositing in various locations thought the globe. Each location is carefully documented by photograph, many times video, and most importantly by GPS (Global Positioning Satellite). The GPS coordinates are logged into a database and then the location is plotted on a map. These maps with the coordinates serve as the gallery documentation of the work. For exhibition purposes, I have included duplicates of the markers (time capsules) that have been deposited at each of the locations plotted on the maps. Inside the markers (time capsules) are various items such as photographs, a statement about the work and how to contact me. The most important piece of information included is the coordinates to the previous marker.
